http://www.acoustic-energy.co.uk/Product_range/Aego_series/Aego_M.asp - When I moved house I decided to sell off my old and stupidly loud Gemini PA amp. It was bigger than I needed and also had a very large fan which took a while to settle down. In the new house I found that there were two places that I wanted to be able to play music: From my computer and from all my various AV gadgets in the living room. I ony had one amp though. That's been going between floors now for the past few weeks depending on where I want sound and how arsed I can be.

Until now...

I've just invested in a lovely little set of speakers with an amp built into the subwoofer unit. I haven't set them up yet, but I pursuaded work to get a set (so they could try before I buyed) ;-) I have been very impressed with the sound quality and volume you can get out of them. So I cought myself a set too. Now it turns out someone else at work is considering getting themselves a set.

So, if you're looking for a small all-in-one system with a hell of a punch to it, I'd happily point you in the direction of this set of speakers. They only downside is that it's designed only to take in one sound source, but if like me, you run everything through your TV, it's all good in the hood. YAY!
